You are invited to join us in sponsoring Chicago’s second annual Harmonious New Year’s Eve Celebration. And it may cost you nothing…
Last year, our inaugural event thrilled the 250 happy people who participated in the evening’s festivities. Held at the Zen-inspired Holmes Place Health Club, just 2 blocks from Navy Pier, the six-hour event was a smorgasbord of fun! Offerings included dancing, yoga (six classes!), swimming-soaking-steaming (in chlorine-free waters), dining, healing-massage sessions, belly dancing class, dream analysis, and kirtan (an Indian sing-along), all in an alcohol- and tobacco-free environment. 8pm to 2am.
This year we are preparing for hundreds more of attendees, bringing together Chicago’s conscious-healthy-spiritual community for one magnificent night of clean, healthy fun! Chicago has needed a healthy alternative for New Year’s Eve, and it has arrived!
Last year, there was no cost to any of our sponsors!
Sponsorship entails a commitment to sell 10 or 20 tickets to the event. Simply spread the word amongst your customers/clients/students, and if your experience is similar to the four sponsors of last year’s event, you will sell all “pre-purchased” tickets (and more!), and the sponsorship will cost you nothing.
Best of all, not a dime is due to us until New Year’s Eve itself!
As a sponsor your logo/business name will appear on all of our promos (posters, flyers), you will gain exposure to tens of thousands of people who will receive our e-mails, explore our website, and see our posters and flyers around town! And, you’ll get priority in sharing your talents/services/knowledge at the event (i.e. having a class scheduled).
To be included, fill out the simple “quasi-contract” that is attached to this e-mail, and send it back.
The sponsorship deadline is October 25th.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Warmest Autumn Wishes to you,
The Harmonious New Year’s Eve Production Team
(All proceeds go the construction and maintenance of a free, on-line resource directory for wellness, spirituality, holistic health, and joyful living)

FAQ
--Where can I get more information on the event?
Some basic information on last year’s event is available for your viewing at www.SpiritualChicago.org.
--Were last year’s sponsors happy with their experiences?
Absolutely! Last year’s sponsors- Moksha Yoga, innergy, Vitality Natural Foods (of Wilmette) and Breema Wellness- have all signed on as sponsors again this year, showing their satisfaction with the sponsorship experience.
--What is the event concept?
Bringing together people, who appreciate warm smiles and good vibes, to celebrate the beauty of existence.
We do this at a fine club, where we shed our winter garb, and play for six fun hours! The options are abundant… swimming and soaking, dancing, yoga, dining, healing sessions, interesting speakers, and dining, of course! At midnight we will all come together for an inspired dance ritual.
--What is the highlight of the event?
Everyone had a different favorite part last year. Yet, it seems that everyone was thrilled at the overall friendliness of the people. So many people made dear friends, and expanded their communities. I got feedback of friendships made in the hot tub, of old friends getting reacquainted on the dance floor, and of the wonderful discovery of new practices and understandings.
--What will be new or different this year?
With experience under our belt, the Celebration will evolve beautifully. We will shift our space around, and expand into new places, to accommodate changing needs. Included in this will be larger spaces for classes (which run from 8-11pm), and a new “chill out lounge” when the calling of the moment is to go within, or engage in intimate conversation.
There will be Masters of Connectivity, who will roam the party making introductions when appropriate. And there will be an expansion of food services, with healthy snacks and fruit well into the night. The teas will continue to be the finest, and available all night long! And, new classes and performances will be featured.
--Who is the production team?
Ken Lewis, Emily Klik, and George Kocalis are running the operations. Live music will be performed by Preston Klik (Eight:18 @ Unity), hopping dance music will be masterfully spun by Kenny Dread, and Hazel (Sanctuary), will be the Master of Décor and Intention.
Add to that the catering team, the presenters, the club’s crew, and the event’s volunteers, and we’ve got a 50-person strong team to make the evening delightful for all!
--Did the media notice you last year?
Yes! Besides for being covered by major media outlets like the Tribune and Sun-Times and their affiliates, last year we were written-up as a “unique party option” in Red Streak, and were featured on the Channel 7 news on New Year’s Eve!
--How does one become a presenter at the event?
The opportunity to present at the event, including offering classes and workshops, is now in great demand, as it is the ideal place to share your talents with the community & to bring exposure to what you do.
These positions are now only available to sponsors and affiliates of sponsors, another great reason to join the team!
The more you support the event and the community, the more the event and community will support you!
10 tickets buys sponsorship & a first-available scheduling slot
20 tickets buys sponsorship & priority scheduling.
--How to sign-on as a sponsor?
All you need to do is filled out the one-minute “quasi-contract” form that is attached, and e-mail it back to me.
Sponsorship deadline is October 25th. Respond now for priority placement.
--What happens to the proceeds of the event?
We wish we had such a problem! For now, all income goes to securing the overhead of the operations.
If there is extra money after covering expenses, it will all go towards the creation and maintenance of a community resource directory that is free of advertising, scheduled for December 1st release (you are already included in it if you’ve received this e-mail).
