Dzogchen: Direct Mind Perception

Tuesday, March 29, and Wednesday, March 30, 7 to 9 p.m.
Teachings on two evenings
Shambhala Meditation Center of Chicago

7331 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago
A highly accomplished teacher, Wangdor Rimpoche is a holder of both the Nyingma and Kagyu Dzogchen/Chagchen lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, and a Rimay (nonsectarian) teacher. After escaping from Tibet by foot over the Himalayas, carrying his guru, he has spent the last 35 years meditating in the caves used by the Tibetan saint, Padmasambhava and his consort Mandareva, in Northern India.

He has been joined at the caves by over 60 yogis and yoginis from many lineages to whom he provides guidance and support.  Lama Wangdor teaches from heart texts on Dzogchen, the maha-ati and mahamudra yogas which he has received directly from his teachers.

Suggested donation for visit expenses: $15, but no one will be turned away. There will be an opportunity for participants to offer Rimpoche a teacher's gift each evening. Pre-registration not required, but please respond to 773-743-8147 or to smcchicago@yahoo.com if you intend to attend.
