This monastic school, namely Shedrub Doejo Ling is the out come of the wish and advice of the great Kyabje Dujom Dodul Lingpa.
In 1975 it was first established at Dalousie in India, then later in 1976 it was shifted to Mussoorie for one year, because of the moderate climate. After that it was shifted to Nepal in 1977 in accordance with the wish and advice of former Kyabje Dujom Rinpoche. At present, religious studies and meditations are being seriously practiced. All the great scriptures of the Nyingmapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism are the main source of study with special emphasis to practice, good heart and open mind for the benefit of all the living beings.
During a nine-year course of Buddhist studies, the students have to cover all the basic practice of the Nyingmapa tradition and thereafter they will be given the Graduation Certificate to continue in the higher practices. The sole Head of this institution is a great scholar of Tantra, Ven. Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche.
