| This monastery is located in the northern side of Gorkha District near by Ngari zong of Tibet. This monastery is located in the east of Manaslu Himal and in the north of Ganesh Himal. It is 240 Km. far from the district headquarter of Gorkha. Gurungs of Chumba group reside in this village and they are totally Buddhist. The agricultural products are wheat, potato, buckwheat, radish and karu (local wheat). Because of proximity, the market place is Tibet. People purchase wool and salt in Tibet. The people themselves prepare their woolen-clothes. They wear shoes made of wool. They are very laborious.
Lhondrub Tsungon Monastery was established by Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche in 1926 A.D. His Majesty King Tribhuvan bir Bikram Shah Dev had provided yearly Rs. 300.00 (in word Rs. Three hundred) to conduct worship in the monastery through Gorkha District in the period of General Juddha Shumsher.
After the demise of Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche in 1945 A.D. Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechau Rinpoche has been holding up the responsibility of the monastery. At present 25, 30 Lamas are there to worship and chant in the monastery.
Chum Rahchhen Smri Gonpa is located at Chumlar Village, Ward No. 5 of the same V.D.C. and the same District. That monastery was established by Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche in 1939 A.D. After the demise of Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche, it was looked after by Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche. At present after the self- incornation of Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche in 1947 A.D., it is undertaken by Ngawang Khenrop Dorje Rinpoche. The monastery is also called Nunnery. At present, 30 Aanis are there to worship and to chant.
A lot of monasteries are there in the area at every tole. A lot of holy places that belong to Mahapandit Padmo Sombava “Guru Rinpoche” of India are there. A cave where Guru Mila Ralpo had mediated is located there. The cave is called Kuthang Puran Phuk.

This Tashi Gyatso Monastery is located in front of Dorje Lekpa Himal. It is in the east of Gosaikunda and in the west of Panch Pokhari. It is in the north of Kathmandu. It is about 114 Km. far from Kathmandu. Only the Sherpas and the Tamangs dwell around this monastery. Both of the tribes are totally Buddhists.
Only potato and karu (local wheat) is the agricultural product of this place. To say about fruits apple is produced. Animal husbandry is the main occupation of the people. The people maintain their life by pro9ducing milk and ghee from yeks, cows and buffaloes.
Tashi Gyatso Monastery, Bagang Goyang was established by Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee rinpoche in 1934 A.D. After his demise in 1945 A.D., the function of worshipping and chanting was performed by Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu rinpoche. He started its thorough reconstruction in 1959 A.D. About 25-30 Lamas are continuing the function of worship and chant in this Gonpa.

This monastery was started by Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche in 1992 A.D. And was inaugurated by His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on Nov. 21, 1997 A.D.
At present Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche has kept 25 lamas in this monastery so as to look after it and to worship and chant.

This monastery is located in front of Gauri Shankar Himal. It is in the east of Kalinchok hill and in the west of Rolpalin Lhachhi. Kuti Vote of Tibet is near from that place. Sherpa, Tamang, Chhetrie, Brahman, Kami, Damai, Sarki, Thami dwell in that place Sherpa and Tamang are Buddhist. Rest of all are Hindus.
Maize, karu (local wheat), potato, millet, wheat is produced here, and rice is produced slightly. Yak, sheep, cow, buffalo, goat are tamed as animal husbandry.
This monastery was established by Dukpa Lama Sherpa Dorjee Rinpoche in 1934 A.D. After his demise in 1945 A.D., the performance of worship and chanting is done by Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche. This monastery is also called Nunnery (Aani Gumpa). 60 women are worshipping and chanting in this monastery. Jhangchup Meto Monastery is located in the eastern side of this monastery across the river.

Tashi Namgyal Choeling Monastery
This monastery is located in the lap of Shailung hill. The tribes residing around this monastery are Sherpa, Tamang, Newar and Magar. Sherpa and Tamang are Buddhist.
The agricultural product of the village is maize, millet, oats and buck-wheat, and goats and buffalos are tamed.
This monastery was established by Dukpa Lama Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche in 1967 A.D. At present 20 lamas are worshipping and chanting in the monastery.

This monastery was established Karkue Lama Youngen in 1971 A.D. It is a historical monastery among Tamang ones. Afterwards, Bigu Mehame Lama Lopsang Rinpoche dismantled and reconstructed it. At present the performance of worship and chant is being continued by the Youngen Lamas of that village.

Shree Choephel Kundeling Monastery
Gaurishankar Himal is visible from this monastery. It was established by Mehame Ghukoling Youngen’s father Lama Choedrub Dewal Doungen Rinpoche in 1663 A.D. This monastery is newly reconstructed by the offspring’s of 8 grandfathers of Lisunkhu Youngens afterwards in 1951 A.D. There is custom of worshipping and chanting in the monastery by the offspring’s of 8 grandfathers daily turn by turn. Thus worshipping and chanting is being performed by Youngen Lamas.

This monastery was established by Dal Dahadur Lama and Nar bahadur Lama in 1961 A.D. It is located at Janakpur Dham, Dhunasha Dham, near by Ram Temple. The performance of worshipping and chanting is being continued by Tamang lamas in the monastery.
