Karma Tegchen Legshey Ling monastery is situated at Jorpati Boudha Nath. It belongs to the Karma Kartsang sect. The head Guru of the Monastery is Karma Thinley Rinpoche the 4th.
The monastery was established in 1987. In the main temple there are statues of Lord Buddha, Padma Sambava, Avaloketishora, Green Tara etc. of size 13ft. respectively. There are beautiful wall paintings of golden lineage of Kagdyupa, and other gurus and deities of all four sects of Tibetan Buddhism.
