Founders of Karma Tharjay Chokhorling Monastery are H. E. Beru Khyentse Rinpoche, and H. E. 4th Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. Nath Monastery in Bouddha was established in 1984. Lineage: Karma Kagyu, H. E. Beru Khyentse Rinpoche is the mind emanation of the first Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the great treasure revealer and founder of the Rime movement of 19th century in Tibet which sought to encompass all lineages of the Tibetan tradition.
Yearly activities: daily puja and prayers; puja and prayers on auspicious and holy days; special puja at the request of disciples. Large puja and special activities such as yearly Monlam are conducted at the monastery in Bodh Gaya, India. H.E. Beru Khyentse Rinpoche spends much of the year traveling to many parts of the world, both East and West, to teach at Dharma Centers.

Special features: The monastery is situated north of the Boudha stupa and is the highest building in Buddha, with fine views from its rooftop. The main prayer room, or Lhakhang, of the monastery holds many fine statues and is extensively painted with images of Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Yidams, Protectors and great teachers of Buddhism.
