THE SCOPE OF THIS BUDDHISTVIEW NETWORK

The mission of Buddhist View International is to highlight the main source for hearing the profound philosophical teachings based upon the Four Noble Truths this being the high lamas and the sangha, who preserve and promote Buddhism.

Therefore, we deem it extremely important to preserve and publish the writings of highly learned lamas of the Buddhist monasteries, nunneries and retreat centers.  It is the goal of Buddhist View to foster greater understanding and cooperation among the different Buddhist traditions that it is our common responsibility to promote peace, love and happiness on our planet.

We hope that the Buddhist View network will help Buddhist and non-Buddhist students, scholars and tourist locate Buddhist centers and teachers around the world.  I  our first publication of Buddhist View, we provided information on monasteries and head lamas from India, Nepal and Tibet.  We have since expanded the network to include contact information for centers practicing Zen, Chinese and Theravada Buddhism.  Now, we have regularly updated links to global news that will be of interest to Buddhists everywhere.  We have one Buddhist View Center in Nepal and a second in the United States which is also the headquarters of Buddhist View International.  The headquarters is publishing a Buddhist directory that will be made available to the public in the near future.  Buddhist View Center USA organizes pilgrimage tours and offers instruction in Tibetan arts, language and meditation.

In this, our latest, and in every, edition of Buddhist View, we are happy to provide you with as much written information as possible in relation to the Dharma.

The circulation of this Buddhist network website is intended to be circulated worldwide.
