Located at Sechu in Lhodrak County, Sekargutok Monaastry was built in bout 1080 A.D. According to <<Miharhipa Biography>>, the monastery, actually a Nine-storied castle, was constructed by the famous Buddhism master Mhapa’s disciple Milhaehipa lone, who painstakingly constructed it in order to atone for his crime and to cultivate his moral character. Either in the history of Buddhism sects or his in the fields of the architecture or the painting in Tibet, this monastery has taken a very important position.
