Sangahchuling Temple

Sangahchuling Temple

Located at Lhuntse County with an area of 300 square meters, Sangahchuling Temple was built in 1515 as a temple of Drupa Gagukpa sect (one of branches of Gagukpa sect). The original scale of the temple was far more larger than the present one for it had once possessed many manors, vast pieces of fields and pasturelands and nearly the whole Lhuntse valley and Chabochu river area were in its power.
