01/09/07 New York Losar is on 18 February 2007
The Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey has decided to organize the Losar event on February 18 (Sunday), which is actually the first day of the Losar. The venue is Armenian Church. Community leaders feel that it would be nice for Tibetans to come together like a loving family on this most auspicious day so that together we could have fun while at the same time creating positive karmic imprints for a future of mutual support and unity. We are working on a detailed program for the day's event, which we intend to be fast-moving and public participatory. As soon as it is worked out, we will email it to you. Meanwhile, mark your calendar and reserve your leave of absence for February 18.
