01/11/07 The first independent radio program on Tibet in English language

The Los Angeles based team of Tibetans and Tibet Supporters (Rebecca Novick, Christal Smith, Julie Adler, Yangzom Brauen, Ronny Novick, Pema Dhondup, Sarah Wilkinson) launched a monthly one-hour radio program on Tibet in May 2006. This is, most probably, the first independent radio program on Tibet in English language aired from the United States. The program is aired last Friday of each month on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles 98.7 Santa Barbara & streaming live at kpfk.org In each program, they feature news stories, interviews, documentaries, and helpful insights.
