Born In Tibet. Exiled from Tibet in 1959 with mother and other relatives.
Grew up in India. At the age of 8 entered the Gyuto Tantric Monastery in India. |

Tibetan monk for 25 years at the Gyuto Tantric Monastery in India. The Gyuto Tantric Monastery was founded in 1474 by Jey Kunga Dondrub, a leading disciple of His Holiness the First Dalai Lama in Tibet. It was the largest tantric monastery in Tibet unti11959. The monastery was reestablished in India after 1959. |
